Win Prizes by Shopping Small Business Saturday Nov. 27

The 12th Annual Shop Small Business Saturday in Texarkana is slated for November 27, presented by the Texarkana USA Chamber of Commerce, the cities of Texarkana Arkansas and Texas, Main Street Texarkana, Small Business Development Center, and Greater Texarkana Young Professionals.

The 2021 Shop Small Business Saturday is designed for shoppers to shop small by releasing a #ShopSmallTXK21 social media campaign as American Express Neighborhood Champions. The campaign promotes small businesses all across the country and according to a recent survey, 97 percent of consumers agree that shopping at small locally or independently owned businesses is essential to our community, whether you shop or eat small, all year long not just during the holiday season.

Beginning on November 22, and running until December 4, the Small Business Saturday Challenge encourages community members to post a photo on Facebook and Instagram showing proof of purchase from a local small business and using the hashtag #ShopSmallTXK21 during the contest period. Each participant that does this will then be entered into a drawing for prizes or gift certificates from Dot’s Ace Hardware, Crossties/Frozen Rails, Lot1621, Vero’s, Brewsters Coffee, and other great stores.

So, mark your calendar for November 27, as Shop Small Business Saturday.
