Several Texarkana stores open on Thanksgiving Day and early on Black Friday.

Here's a fun and exciting way to bring in the Christmas cheer. This year Small Business Saturday in Texarkana will also include a city-wide Elf Hunt.

With all the stores and restaurants making news that they are closing it is nice to see a new discount store that is just about ready to open in Texarkana.

This weekend there are more than just a few events going on and the weather will be great for it all. From car racing to garage sale shopping to benefits, festivals, haunted houses and spooky trails there is something for everyone.

Times are tough. Every couple of months or so, we hear about a store or business having money problems and filing for bankruptcy or closing many stores to try and save themselves. It's happening again. Both Texas and  Arkansas are affected on this latest list of closings.
