Pleasant Grove High School Presents Disney's 'Beauty & The Beast'

It's time for Pleasant Grove High School's 2022 Fall Musical and it's a classic you don't want to miss. Pleasant Grove High School Curtain Call Productions presents Disney's 'Beauty and the Beast Jr.'

The musical will be performed Thursday, November 17, Friday, November 18, and Sunday, November 20 at the Pleasant Grove HS Performing Arts Center located at 5406 McKnight Road in Texarkana, Texas.

The musical is based on the original broadway play that won 13 tony awards and the animated movie that has become a family favorite This family-friendly production is perfect for all ages to enjoy.

The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.

The performances are on Thursday and Friday evenings starting at 7 PM and the Sunday performance is in the afternoon at 3 PM. Admission is free but tickets are required and can be picked up in advance in the front office of Pleasant Grove High School during school hours. Tickets will also be available at the door before each performance.
