What Are The Most Popular Baby Names In Texas for 2022?
As a soon-to-be new grandfather, I personally have an interest in this one as my daughter and her husband are working on the name thing as we speak. Each year Names.org puts together a list of the most predicted baby names for the year for the whole country and also breaks it down for each state. These names were the most predicted names to be used in the Great State of Texas. Let's see how they did.
Did you have, or are you having a baby this year? What names did you use? Chances are pretty good you went in the direction of national or state trends and it's always interesting to see where those trends are taking us. There seems to be a trend towards more traditional or even what could be considered, old-fashioned names for girls in recent years. You might notice a heavier Hispanic leaning in Texas.

Now, on a personal note:
Maybe you could help my kids pick just the right middle name for their little girl, my granddaughter, that's coming in March. Her first name they're thinking will be Sara...
First off, "Lee" is out... a great name for cakes and pies, but that is not going to be my granddaughter's name. Now that we have the frivolity out of the way, do you have any real suggestions? Send them in through the App, and thanks in advance.
Personally, I think "Sara James" has a nice ring to it, but maybe that's just me.
Happy baby name-making...
