It’s A&M-Texarkana’s Popular Trunk or Treat & New Free Haunted Trails
Halloween is Monday and Texas A&M Texarkana's popular Halloween Truck or Treat is back. Something new to check out is the Haunted Trails for a spooky fun time.
This city-wide event is taking place on Halloween, Monday, October 31. Hosted by the Texas A&M University-Texarkana’s Office of Student Life and the Student Athletes Advisory Council. The fun gets started at 5 PM and goes until 7 PM.
It all will take place on the university lawn with fun activities for the kids and of course candy too.
For a spooky good time, get ready for something new this year. It's the “Haunted Trails,” sponsored by the TAMUT cross-country teams. The Haunted Trails are free of charge and everyone can enjoy it because there are two trails; the short trail for the kids that's a little spooky and then there is the longer trail that is spookier for the older kids.
Celeste McNiel the A&M-Texarkana Director of Student Life said in a press release;
“We are so excited to bring Trunk or Treat back to our campus again. It’s been a few years since we have been able to host the event and our students have been very vocal about their desire to bring it back. This has been a fun, wonderful community event for us in the past and we are excited to invite the community back to campus for some Halloween fun."
So get ready for a fun time and it's free. You can find out more information at the Texas A&M Texarkana Facebook page.
