Happy New Year! By the way, if you're keeping score, last week's long-range forecast said we would have snowfall on January 2nd right? Let the record show it did, snow and sleet actually, but very little made it to the ground as it blew in with very cold temps over the weekend. The forecasters weren't wrong, it just wasn't anything we could play in.

This first full week of 2022 we're back to more normal fluctuating temps like most Januarys in the Ark-La-Tex but very dry conditions at least the first part of the week, so if you're planning on getting some yard cleanup done, you should have a few good days to work with.

This Week's Forecast:

Monday: Sunny with a high near 46. Winds calm.

Monday Night: Mostly clear skies with the overnight low around 24. Winds out of the southeast at 5 mph.

LOOK: 50 famous memes and what they mean

With the infinite number of memes scattered across the internet, it's hard to keep track. Just when you've grasped the meaning of one hilarious meme, it has already become old news and replaced by something equally as enigmatic. Online forums like Tumblr, Twitter, 4chan, and Reddit are responsible for a majority of meme infections, and with the constant posting and sharing, finding the source of an original meme is easier said than done. Stacker hunted through internet resources, pop culture publications, and databases like Know Your Meme to find 50 different memes and what they mean. While the almost self-replicating nature of these vague symbols can get exhausting, memes in their essence can also bring people closer together—as long as they have internet access.
