Times are tough right now, between high gas prices, high inflation rates and the fear of a recession, but something happened at a church in Texas that makes us take a step back and realize we aren't in control of everything and that's okay.

Once the fire was out there was only one thing that was still standing, only one thing standing in the aftermath of the fire.

The Wise County ESD No. 2 / Boonsville-Balsora Volunteer Fire Department posted on their Facebook page;

A devastating loss to our community, but a sight to behold. The fire took the structure, but not the cross. A symbol that the building was just that, a building. The Church is the congregation, and where 2 or more gather, there he shall be also.

How Amazing is This?

What a sight to see. And as they stated on their Facebook page, The building was just a building, the church is the congregation.
