It's vacation season but with the gas prices as high as they are some people are canceling their big vacation plans and deciding to stay closer to town. Of course, where ever you decide to go you are going to want some major relief from this heat. It's always a good idea to vacay close to a body of water.

Right on the Water With Your Very Own Swimming Hole

This gem is actually really close to Texarkana and it's set right on the riverfront of the Caddo River. In fact, you will see just how close to the water this cabin is in the photos below. You can just walk down the steps and right into a great private swimming hole. People love to float, kayak and fish on this river too.

Plenty of Room for Family & Friends

You can take the whole family or have a fun getaway with friends. Either way, this looks like a great place to check out.

This cabin is three bedrooms and three full bathrooms. Plus bunk beds for the kids. It also has a wonderful big porch area and the inside is a nice open floor plan.

Just imagine playing in the water and cooling off during the day. Then at night hang out on the porch with a nice cool drink and listen to the relaxing sounds of the river flowing by.
