Wow, just wow. Texarkana Texas Police have arrested a 71-year-old grandmother from Texarkana along with her grandson for deadly conduct.
It all happened Tuesday morning January 31 when TTDP arrested 71-year-old Helen Sanders and her 16-year-old son at her home on Casteel Street.
Sanders' grandson got into a fight with another boy at school earlier that day and the school suspended both boys and they were sent home.
According to TTPD Facebook page;
The other boy's grandmother decided that it would be a good idea to take him to Sanders' house to put an end to the problems. When they got there, an argument broke out between the two groups. At some point during all of this, Sanders went back into her house and returned with a handgun, which she then handed to her grandson.
The boy visiting got back into their car to leave. As they were leaving the area, that is when Sander's grandson started shooting at the victim's car.
That's when they called 911. Texarkana Texas police arrived at the house and found he gun and arrested both Sanders and her grandson. She is at the Bi-State Jail with a bond of $7,500 and the grandson is now at Juvenile Detention Center.
