A Story About Life, Love and the End of the World
When the World Ends follows Harvey Wilson, an insecure man who feels overlooked at work, ignored by his peers, and invisible to the woman he admires. After a particularly rough day, Harvey dreams of a mysterious messenger named Betty, who delivers some unexpected news: the world will end in one year.
Suddenly faced with the possibility of losing everything, Harvey must confront his fears, reconsider his relationships, and figure out what really matters.
The play blends humor and relatable characters with thought-provoking questions about self-worth, human connection, and how people choose to live when time is running out.
Roles Available for Local Performers
Auditions will be held for several characters, including Harvey Wilson, his larger-than-life best friend Larry, his love interest Jillian, his verbally abusive supervisor Sue, and the mysterious messenger Betty.

There's also an opportunity for five to seven performers to join the Greek Chorus, an ensemble that helps tell the story, portrays background characters and assists with stage duties.
Whether you're an experienced performer or have always wanted to try acting, the production offers a chance to get involved in bringing this award-winning play to Arkansas audiences.
