Free Backpacks for Texarkana Students! POL CARE Announces 5th Annual Event

Families can get a head start on the new school year as POL CARE Inc. hosts its 5th Annual Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway on Saturday, July 18, from 10 AM to 1 PM at Texarkana College, located at 2500 N. Robison Road in Texarkana, Texas.

The giveaway is open to students in 1st through 12th grades and will provide free backpacks while supplies last. The backpacks will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, and an adult must accompany each child receiving a backpack. Heads up, this is a popular event so get there early!

Supporting Local Children and Families

POL CARE Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is dedicated to serving children from an infant all the way to 18 years of age and also helps support their families. The organization is made up of a team of community-minded people who work together to provide resources, services, and assistance to help our local youth succeed.

The annual backpack giveaway is one of the many ways POLCARE gives back to the community by helping ensure students have the supplies they need to start the school year prepared and confident.
