Veterans Day is this Saturday, November 11, and there are several events around Texarkana that will honor our military veterans.

The Elks Local Chapter 399 is having a FREE Dinner for Veterans at 7 PM located at 4701 Garland Avenue. All members and their guests are encouraged to invite a veteran.

Veterans Day Parade - Nov. 11

The Texarkana Area Veterans Council will be hosting the annual Veterans Day Parade in downtown historic Texarkana at 11 AM on Saturday. The parade is scheduled to start at the corner of East Broad and Hazel Streets. This year's parade is tied in with the Texarkana Sesquicentennial with the theme 150 + Years of Texarkana Area Veterans.

The public is invited to attend please come out to show your support by wearing some red white and blue apparel and bring an American flag to wave. If your Church, Business, School, or Civic Organization would like to participate in the parade you are asked to call 903-556-1613 or 1-877-824-4862. The parade line-up will begin at 9:30 AM with the parade starting at 11 AM.

Texarkana Harley-Davidson will honor our veterans on Veterans Day with a day filled with camaraderie, riding, delicious food, and special rewards for our heroes.
9 AM - Coffee and Donuts and a Meet and Greet with riders and veterans
10 AM - Veterans Day Riders Challenge show off your riding skills and compete for bragging rights
Veterans who attend this event will receive a special Harley-Davidson PIN as a token of our appreciation for your service. And veterans who purchase $100 or more at the dealership will receive a Free Harley-Davidson Ball Cap while they last.

10 PM - Lunch-in

The general public is invited to come eat a complimentary Taco Meal with all the veterans attending. Friends and family are welcome to come show your support and honor our veterans on their special day.
