Veterans Town Hall Meeting this Thursday in Texarkana

Overton Brooks VA Medical Center is hosting a Town Hall and outreach event this Thursday from 6 to 7PM.

The event will be held at the Holiday Inn-Arkansas Convention Center, located at 5200 Convention Plaza Drive in Texarkana, Arkansas.

Veterans and their families, congressional and senatorial stakeholders, Veteran Service Organizations, local media partners, and other organizations in our community are invited.

The Town Hall meeting is an open forum in which hospital leaders will listen to Veterans’ thoughts, concerns and ideas. The meeting is an opportunity to build and strengthen OBVAMC’s commitment to ensuring service members, Veterans, families, and other beneficiaries have a chance to share their experiences both positive and those experiences that can be improved by OBVAMC staff. OBVAMC leaders will also present updates about the VA modernization.

VA Outreach services and special program representatives will also be available to assist Veterans to include VA health care enrollment and eligibility; VA benefits and claims assistance; patient advocate services and more.
