True Crime Podcast to Focus on Suspicous Death of Texarkana Ar Woman

There is a new true crime podcast coming out and it will be focusing on a woman that died back in the early 1990s just outside the Texarkana, Arkansas city limits. Her family, friends and others found the death to be suspicious and they are still looking for answers 30 years after her death.

The new true crime podcast called Burden will be released Friday, September 30. Season 1 will be about the death of 21-year-old Billie Jean Letterman back on August 13, 1991, in Texarkana, Arkansas.

According to the Burdenpod.com website;

Mom didn't kill herself. It was murder. That's what one daughter is out to prove. Season 1 of Burden examines the suspicious death of Billie Jean Letterman near Texarkana, Arkansas in 1991. The story covers Billie’s tragic death, an investigation that went terribly wrong, and a family left with many hard questions.

What is this Podcast Based On?

The podcast, according to the Burden website is based on interviews with police that were first on the scene, forensic experts and paramedics. Plus interviews with of Billie Jean's family and friends.

I hope this podcast will help this family and other families and friends of suspicious deaths and cold cases find answers and justice. I have a friend Scott Roberts that was murdered six years ago in Texarkana, Arkansas in July of 2020 still no answers and no arrests...yet.
