Texas High Freshmen Debate Team Win High Honors

There is little debate that some freshmen at Texas High know a thing or two about the art of debating. 

The Texas High School Freshmen UIL CX Debate Team earned a Top Six spot at a recent district meet.

Matthew Martin and Anna Ward, members of the Texas High School Freshmen UIL Cross-Examination Debate Team, earned a top six placement during the recent UIL District Meet on January 31 in Mt. Pleasant, TX.

The young team went 3-0 in the preliminaries to advance to the quarterfinals and then earn their sixth place score.  They are coached by Amy Kemp.
