Texarkana Twins Strikeout – Sold & Moving For 2022 Season
Looks like Texarkana will no longer have a minor league baseball team. It was just recently announced that the Texarkana Twins Baseball Team has been sold.
What's The History of The Texarkana Twins?
Texarkana Twins have a long history in Texarkana dating back to 1912. In the 1940s they were a feeder team for the Detroit Lions. The team has been in quite a few different leagues through the years including South Central League, the East Texas League, the Lone Star League, the Cotton States League. Most recently starting in 2017 they were part of the Texas Collegiate League.
Where Are The Texarkana Twins Going?
But it looks like the Texarkana Twins have been sold to a group out of Seguin, Texas. The team will be relocating for the 2022 season.

It is with extreme sadness that we have to announce the end of an era. The Texarkana Twins baseball team has been officially sold to a new ownership group based in Segiun, Texas and the team will be relocating for the 2022 season and beyond.
We are sad to see the team go but we wish them all the best for their future.
