Texarkana Texas Police Need Help Finding This Man
Texarkana Texas Police are once again asking the public to help them find someone from our area, this man is accused of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
The man pictured above is John Easley, 43, and the Texarkana Police Department posted him on their Facebook Page Tuesday, February 1, as wanted for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
The TTPD Facebook post said:
About 9:30 last night (Monday), we responded to a disturbance call in the 2700 block of Charlotte Street. When we got there, we discovered that Easley had ran over his estranged wife with his black Nissan pickup truck and fled the scene. The victim was transported to Wadley Regional Hospital, where she was treated for her injuries.
Police report that the victim was pretty banged up, however, she is expected to make a full recovery.
Police went on to say that after interviewing witnesses and completing the initial investigation, Detective Warren Smith obtained an arrest warrant for Easley. John Easley already had an active warrant for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Duty to Register.
