Bowie County reports 127 new confirmed cases bringing the total to 3489 cumulative positive COVID-19 cases, with 1 additional death since our last report for a total of 138. The Department of State Health Services is reporting an additional 1290 probable cases with a total of 3816 estimated recoveries.

Cass County added 28 new cases, for a total of 988, 486 probable cases with 1350 of those recovered, 68 active cases and 1 new death for a total of 58.

Miller County reports 3135 cumulative cases, 175 active cases, 2934 recovered cases and no new deaths for a total of 26 COVID-19 related deaths. (1/17/21)

Free testing is still being offered Monday - Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Texarkana- Bowie County Family Health Center at 902 W. 12th Street, Texarkana, TX 75501. There are no requirements for testing (residency included), oral swab with results in 48-96 hours, and pre-registration available at www.gogettested.com.
