As I said during the radio broadcast, it wasn't a re-grand opening, because all during the remodel, our Arkansas-side Walmart #468 stayed open. We, as customers, and even they, as associates, are still going through the growing pains. But we're all learning together the new layout.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott has announced a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect involved in the shooting of Memphis Police Chief Rex Plant. The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has added the suspect, Seth Altman, to their 10 Most Wanted Fugitive List.

A few foods make up what I call the perfect food, meaning that you can create them using most (if not all) of the major food groups. They are the hamburger, pizza, and the humble taco. Welcome to National Taco Day, the day we salute that oh-so-humble and simple-ish food, the taco.

UPDATE: Tonight's watch party and open house at Texarkana College has been canceled due to the nasty weather and potential flooding dangers. Watch it though, great show tonight featuring local bladesmiths.

These guys came in with their sticky fingers and started filling their pants with stuff that didn't belong to them at Cindies on State Line in Texarkana, on two different occasions no less.
