Christus St. Michael Chief Executive Officer and President Chris Karam will leave the hospital for a job in Alexandria. Louisiana.

CHRISTUS Health announced today that Chris Karam, president and CEO of CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System, has been named Senior Vice President of Group Operations and president and CEO of CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Health System in Alexandria, La., effective Sept. 24, 2018.

Christus St. Michael Health System has been named among a select group of hospitals and healthcare systems across the country honored with the Healthgrades Outstanding Patient Experience Award for 2018.

The Christus St. Michael Atlanta Foundation will host the first "Atlanta Tour de Forest Bicycle Ride" on Saturday, June 2 at the Atlanta Fairgrounds in partnership with the Atlanta Forest Festival.
