With spring break going on this week for some and next week for others, there is a perfect Arkansas attraction to see. The Little Rock Zoo.

If you've been there a few times already or if you've never been, the Little Rock Zoo is always a guarantee for a great experience. I mean seriously who doesn't love animals? So, grab the kids and head out for a day at this fantastic zoo.

They are having their Spring Break Passport program starting Friday, March 17 and going until Friday, March 24 with fun activities all through the day from 9:30 AM to 3 PM.

Some of the daily activities include watching the penguins get fed and learning about them with the penguin keepers, here from the keepers of birds, chimpanzees, elephants and more. And get ready because it was just recently announced that they will be going through some major upgrades. According to thv11.com;

More than $5 million will go towards a makeover of the zoo entrance, upgrading the amphitheater, and renovating some of the small monkey habitats.
