Here are some things that will make your trip to the annual Arkansas High vs Texas High game go a little smoother.

If you are a Razorback fan and do not want to drive your vehicle to the game, shuttle service from the AHS student parking lot is FREE to all ticket holders. All shuttle riders will go through security screening.

Texas High fans who do not wish to drive themselves to Razorback Stadium can use the Tiger Shuttle Bus service to and from Razorback Stadium.

The Shuttle Bus Service is FREE to all and requires a purchased game ticket for boarding.  Shuttles will leave from the THS Student Parking lot at 4001 Summerhill Road beginning at 5:30 p.m.  Seats will be offered on a first come first serve basis and security will be provided at parking site during the evening to watch over vehicles and to assist fans with any questions.  Return Shuttles will begin at the start of the Third Quarter.Texas High fans will go through a security screening upon boarding and will bypass stadium security screening.  They will be dropped off at a special South side entrance at Razorback Stadium.

If you are planning on driving a private vehicle to the big game here are the instructions from the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department on proper procedure to enter and exit the stadium:

Vehicles may enter the Stadium the following ways:

1. Home (Arkansas) Fans - East on E 18th. St. from Jefferson Ave. and turn into the Home Parking Area.

2. Arkansas Season Ticket Holders - South on Franklin St. from E. 24th St. and straight   into the VIP Parking Area

3. Visitor (Texas) Fans – Arkansas Boulevard east to Hwy. 67/ E. Broad St. South on Broad to E. 18th St. Turn west on E.18th from Broad St. and then left into the Visitor Parking Area. Also, north on Hwy. 67/ Broad St. from Hwy 82 E. (E 9th St), then west on E. 18th St.

There will be "No Thru Traffic" on E. 18th Street beginning at 5:30pm until 11:00pm

Vehicles may exit the Stadium the following ways:

1. Home (Arkansas) Fans - West on E 18th St. to Jefferson Ave.

2. Arkansas Season Ticket Holders & Drop Off and Pick of Students - North on Franklin St. from Stadium to E. 24th St.

3. Visitor (Texas) Fans - East out of the parking lot to Hwy. 67. North or South on Hwy. 67.



Parents dropping off or picking up students to see the game: 

Try to arrive early to avoid traffic congestion. Parking attendants will be in place inside the stadium parking area. If you choose to park in a residential area near the stadium be sure not to block private driveways. Vehicles that block private drives or that are found double parked are subject to be towed.

All persons entering the stadium are subject to be searched by metal detectors. Bags are also subject to be searched for weapons and contraband. Everyone attending the game is advised to avoid bringing large purses or bags into the stadium. This should speed up access into the stadium and avoid unnecessary delays at the gate.

No concealed weapons are allowed on school property.

No alcohol is permitted in the stadium or parking lot. Anyone who is found to be consuming alcohol in public or is under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be subject to arrest.

Police Officers will be patrolling inside the stadium as well as in the neighborhoods around the stadium. Officers will be enforcing all criminal and traffic laws.

Remember no tickets will be sold at the gate for this game. If you are a Texas High fan tickets are on sale through Thursday at the Sullivan Performing Arts Center adjacent to the high school campus. Tickets sold from 8AM TO 4PM and tickets are limited to 10 per person maximum. All tickets are reserved seating and cost $10 a piece. THS Student (High School Only) are $5 and will be sold Thursday during all school lunches at the high school.

Arkansas High fans can purchase their tickets today and Thursday at the Administration building on Jefferson Avenue from 8AM to 5:30PM, and Friday 8AM to 2PM. AHS Students (High School) can purchase their tickets for $5 during lunch periods only.

Gates will open at 5:30PM for the 7:30 Kickoff. Stadium Rules will be enforced. No smoking, no sagging, and due to AAA Rules, no air horns are allowed.

Finally Arkansas High Razorback fans are invited to attend the Razorbacks’ Orange Crush Breakfast and pep rally at Burhman Field located next to Arkansas High School. Admission is $3 and the gates will open at 7:30AM Friday – breakfast will include Orange Crush soda and Tiger Tail donuts. The Razorback pep rally will take place in the AHS gym at 3:15PM.

Texas High School Seniors will hold their annual “Bacon Fry” on Friday, September 8 from 7:45 – 8:20AM  in the courtyard of Texas High School.

A breakfast of eggs, bacon, biscuits and orange juice will be served to all THS students as part of the annual football showdown between Texas High and Arkansas High.

Texas Tigers will hold their Texas vs. Arkansas Pep Rally on Friday, September 8 from 3:00 – 3:50PM in Tiger Center.The public is invited to attend.
