Waco residents now have the opportunity to have purchases delivered via drone. According to KXXV, the service, which operates out of a facility next to the Amazon Waco fulfillment center, is offering millions of items for air delivery.

There is a Catch with the Amazon Delivery Drone

The Amazon Prime drone does have limitations. Packages must weigh less than five pounds with a delivery address within a seven-to-eight-mile radius of the facility. Drone delivery is only available during daylight hours and favorable weather conditions. The service is also not offered in heavy windy conditions. The drone delivery service is $4.99 for Prime members and $9.99 for non-members.

Drone Delivery Tips
