What Building Has The Honor Of Being Arkansas’s Tallest?

When it comes to tall buildings you think of those huge skyscrapers you see in big towns, but what is the tallest building in Arkansas?

Living in Texarkana there are not too many tall buildings out there, all of them are downtown, and with the revitalization of the Grim hotel which is the second tallest building in Texarkana. The old McCartney Hotel is the tallest and is abandoned.

I remember my first trip as a kid to Dallas and seeing all of the big skyscrapers in downtown, I felt a little overwhelmed with all of the huge buildings and there feeling like I was in another world from all of the small flat buildings back home.

In Oklahoma, the tallest building is the Devon Tower 850 feet tall.

Now when it comes to Arkansas the tallest building is the Simmons Bank Tower which is 546 feet. The building was originally home to the TCBY frozen yogurt chain.
