Ride The Polar Express Train

Get the family together for a fun road trip to Galveston to Hop on board, "The Polar Express" for a one-hour train ride that leaves from the historic Galveston Railroad Museum. The Polar Express is part of Christmas in Galveston one of several must-do attractions in December.

Like in the popular movie, wear your pajamas and get ready for a memorable experience as you will meet beloved characters like the conductor, the dancing chefs, the hobo, and the elves with replicated scenes from the holiday classic.

Passengers will be entertained with a reading of Chris Van Allsburg’s book, "The Polar Express," during their journey to the North Pole where they stop to pick up Santa. There will be lots of Christmas caroling along the way and every passenger will receive hot cocoa during the ride.

Santa will visit with each child on the train with a photo op available and children will be given a silver bell just like the one in the movie. After the decorated train pulls back into the train station guests embark and can visit the museum gift shop for some unique gifts.
