Texas’ Prettiest Lake Revealed: You Won’t Believe the Color

Summer is almost here, and soon we will all be looking for a body of water to cool down. If you are looking to see an amazing color of water, you will want to visit this place in Texas. In fact, this lake was named the prettiest in the entire state of Texas.

Last week I found out about a lake in Arkansas that was named the prettiest in the state, but I was wondering what lake is considered the prettiest in Texas?

There are so many beautiful lakes in Texas. Luckily, we had some help from Reader's Digest. They made a list of the Prettiest Lakes in every state. Last week, we learned about the prettiest lake in Arkansas; this week, it's Texas.

This Texas lake is more like a swimming hole than a lake, but it is gorgeous and that's why it made the list.

The Prettiest Lake in Texas is...

Hamilton Pool

Hamilton Pool is located in Travis County in the Texas Hill Country, and it is west of Austin. This swimming hole is popular with the locals and is considered a hidden gem. This swimming hole was created thousands of years ago when there was an underground river, and the ground above collapsed and created this special place. Yay for us! And it even comes with a waterfall.
