Road construction came to a screeching halt the week of the winter storm, but things are ramping back up now that the roads are back to normal. However, traveling around Texarkana and East Texas could be a little frustrating this week, as multiple roads will be under construction, affecting travel flow.

Road Work Continues Through the Texarkana Surrounding Area

According to the Texas Department of Transportation, major work continues in Bowie County on Interstate 30 from FM 989 to the Arkansas state line. Westbound lanes remain split with some ramp closures, and drivers should pay attention to road signs.
