Wanted Little Rock Murder Suspect Arrested at Texarkana Hotel
A man wanted for a fatal shooting in Little Rock was taken into custody in Texarkana, Texas last Friday afternoon, January 31, 2025.
According to the Texarkana, Texas Police Department, officers received information that the wanted man, Jerry Bowser, the suspect in a murder that occurred the day before in Little Rock, Arkansas, was in the area. Investigators quickly located his vehicle at a local hotel and confirmed he had checked in the previous night.
The police report states that as members of the Special Investigations Unit and Texas DPS set up outside his room, Bowser stepped out and was immediately confronted by officers. TTPD said he initially refused to comply with commands but was subdued after being struck twice with rounds from a JPX pepper gun. At the time of his arrest, the report said Bowser allegedly had a pistol tucked in his waistband, though authorities say he did not attempt to use it.
Bowser was booked into the Bi-State Jail on a capital murder warrant from Little Rock. He is expected to be extradited to Arkansas to face those murder charges very soon.
Please remember, all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
