
Eagle Roundup is Back: See Mae Estes Perform and Honor TAMUT’s 2025 Award Winners
It's almost time for the annual Eagle Roundup at Texas A&M University-Texarkana on Thursday, October 9. The fun will kick off at 6:30 PM on campus with a night of great food, live music, and celebrating Eagle pride.
Food, Music, and Performance by Mae Estes
The night will include a delicious BBQ dinner catered by Blue Ember Smokehouse and live music from Hope, Arkansas native Mae Estes. Estes has been making a name for herself in country music.
Estes was named AIMP’s Rising Songwriter-Artist of the Year in 2024 and she was featured in CMT’s Next Women of Country. She has toured with Brad Paisley and Luke Bryan, and her new self-titled EP will drop the day after the Roundup on Friday, October 10.

The evening will also spotlight Texas A&M-Texarkana’s 2025 honorees:
Distinguished Alumni: Susan Warmack, Shawn Vaughn, and Manuel Western
Emerging Alumni: Timothy Frith, Dustin Higby, and Taehlor Lafferty
Distinguished Faculty: Dr. Kim Murray
Alumni Pioneer Award: Crystalle Sloan
Spirit of A&M-Texarkana Award: James Bramlett

Funds Raised Go Toward Scholarships
Tickets are $75, with the money going to scholarships for A&M-Texarkana students.
Dr. Ross Alexander, University President, said in a press release,
