Arkansas State Police Arrest Two in 2022 Interstate Shooting Case
Arkansas State Police (ASP) have arrested two individuals linked to the January 2022 shooting of a Little Rock man on Interstate 630.
On Tuesday, December 3, 2024, ASP Special Agents and the SWAT team apprehended Chidra Micyah Thomas, 25, of Sherrill. Thomas was arrested without incident at an apartment complex in the 4500 block of South Main Street in Pine Bluff and transported to the Pulaski County Detention Center.
A second suspect, Deandreian Devonte Meadows, 24, was served with warrants on December 2, 2024. Meadows was already in custody at the Pulaski County Detention Center on unrelated charges.
Both men face charges of attempted capital murder, possession of firearms by certain persons, terroristic act, and discharging a firearm from a vehicle.
The arrests stem from a January 9, 2022, incident on I-630 near Mississippi Street and Rodney Parham Road. Witnesses reported a rifle being fired from a vehicle, striking a 26-year-old Little Rock man multiple times.
The victim survived the attack, and the investigation into the case continues.
