Arkansas Has A $1 Million Powerball Winner, Check Your Tickets

You better check those Powerball tickets, someone in Arkansas is $1 million richer today than they were yesterday thanks to some luck and the Powerball Lottery game from the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery. 

There was also a $50,000 winner who picked up her big check the other day at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) Claim Center in Little Rock.

Carolyn P. (she prefers to remain anonymous), a new Bismarck, Arkansas resident, picked up a nice $50,000 Powerball prize she won from the Quik Pick ticket she and her husband played on the Powerball New Year's Day drawing.

Carolyn's winning Quick Pick ticket was sold at the 7 T Kwik Stop on 109 Highway 10 in Ola. Carolyn and her husband purchased the ticket on a New Year's Eve trip to Hot Springs after some convincing from a friend. Good thing she listened to her friend that night.

The Search Is On For Arkansas' $1million Winner!

Saturday night's Powerball drawing did not have a jackpot winner, however, the drawing did lead to a 1 million dollar ticket being sold in Arkansas. The ticket was sold at Kroger 644, 1900 N. Polk in Little Rock, for Saturday night’s drawing.  The next drawing for Powerball will be Wednesday, January 10, with an estimated $60 million jackpot.

The winning numbers from Saturday's drawing were: 4, 31, 34, 38 and 61, with the Powerball being 13. The multiplier was two. The player matched the five white balls but didn’t have the Powerball number.
