21 Free Meals or Discounts for Veterans Day in Texarkana

Veterans Day is Saturday, November 11, 2023, and each year participating restaurants across the country take the time to honor veterans and active military men and women with discounts and free complimentary meals.

As always it's best to check with the restaurant before you go to make sure they are honoring the meals and discounts below.

Here is a list of 21 Texarkana restaurants supporting our veterans call it a 21-gun salute.

Applebees - Free meal at select Applebees on Saturday, Nov. 11. Dine-in only, choose from eight entrée options. Must provide proof of military service.

Chili's - Veterans and active military get a free meal from a select menu on Veterans Day with military ID for Dine-in only.

Chick-fil-A - Offers a free chicken sandwich or discount for all active-duty personnel and veterans at participating restaurants on Veterans Day Nov. 11.

Cicis Pizza - Veterans and active-duty military eat free on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023.

Cracker Barrel - All veterans receive a free slice of double fudge, Coca-Cola cake, with an in-store purchase on Veterans Day Nov.11.

Denny’s - Select Denny’s locations offer a free “Build Your Own Grand Slam” breakfast meal to veterans and active-duty military. Must provide proof of service.

Dunkin' - On Veterans Day Nov. 11, active-duty military get a free donut of their choice at participating stores

El Chico Cafe - offers a free meal valued at $20 to veterans and active military members on Veterans Day. Military proof is required for this meal.

Golden Corral -  On Monday, Nov. 13, Military Appreciation Day from 5 p.m. to close, Golden Corral is offering a free “Thank you” dinner to active duty and retired military heroes for dine-in only.

Hooters - Free select dinner entrees with the purchase of a beverage and proof of service. Entree choices include 10-piece boneless wings, Hooters burger, grilled chicken sandwich, buffalo chicken sandwich, and buffalo chicken salad. Dine-in only.

IHOP - Veterans and active-duty military get free Red, White, and blueberry Pancakes or Pancake Combo on November 11 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Dine-in only, at participating restaurants.

Little Caesars Pizza -  Free lunch combo for veterans and active military members on Veterans Day. The combo includes four slices of their popular Detroit-style deep-dish pizza and a 20-ounce Pepsi product. A valid proof of service is required.

Olive Garden - Offering a special treat for veterans and active-duty military members on Veterans Day Nov. 11. Diners with a valid Military ID can enjoy a free entree from the restaurant's special Veterans Day menu.

Outback Steakhouse - Active-duty military and veterans get a free Bloomin' Onion and beverage with the purchase of an adult entree in-restaurant on November 11.

Scooter’s Coffee - Veterans get a free handcrafted drink of any size on November 11 with a valid military ID at participating locations. Not available for Order Ahead through the Scooter’s Coffee Mobile App.

Smoothie King - Active-duty military and veterans get a free smoothie from one of three red, white, and blue smoothies at participating locations on November 11 with a valid ID.

Schlotzsky's - Veterans and active-duty service members will receive free chips and a small drink with any entree purchase. To enjoy this offer, a valid military ID must be presented.

Starbucks -- Starbucks is honoring those who have served with a free tall (12-ounce) hot or cold brewed coffee for veterans, military service members, and military spouses who visit participating U.S. stores on November 11.

Texas Roadhouse - Offering a free dine-in or carry-out meal from a select menu to veterans. The restaurant will distribute meal vouchers from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Veterans Day.  A valid Military ID or proof of service is required.

QuikTrip -  Offering active-duty service members and veterans a free Big Q drink or coffee. To receive this offer, veterans must present a valid military ID.

Wendy's - Offers a free breakfast combo to active military members and veterans on Veterans Day at participating locations. This deal applies in-restaurant or at the drive-thru, with proof of service required. Note: the offer excludes mobile orders and kiosks.
