Enroll in New Cybersecurity and IT Technician Programs This Fall at UAHT
There is so much cyber crime nowadays, so much that because of the crime, a new profession has popped up. Cybersecurity and most companies have this department along with other IT technical positions. That's why the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana is offering this new Certificate of Proficiency (CP) in Cybersecurity and a new CP in IT Technician. It all begins in the Fall.
These certificates are can lead to an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Information Technology.
The program in Cybersecurity is with the CyberLearn Network and it's led by the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Now is the time to get ahead of the pack and get your training.
In a recent press release, the Bureau of Labor Statistics is stating that cybersecurity is expected to see a 33% industry projection in the next ten years. And the great thing is it pays well too with an expected starting salary of around $50,000.
There will also be the CP offered in IT Technician. Who do you call when something goes wrong with your computer or the software? IT to walk to through the problems and get them to fix it all. According to the same press release, the Certificate of Proficiency in IT
is the only industry-recognized credential with performance-based skills to prove competency. The Bureau of Labor Statics is projecting this field to go as much at %9 in the next 8 years with a starting salary between $30,000 to $40,000.
