Drive-Thru Flu Shot Clinic at 4-States Fairgrounds September 29
It's hard to believe that flu season is right around the corner. Next week it will be super easy to get that flu shot. The Miller County Health Department will be setting up for their annual Drive-Thru Flu Shot Clinic at the Four States Fairgrounds.
Flu Shots Recommended to Keep Strain at Hospitals and ERs Low
Doctors and the CDC are recommending the flu shot even more this year because of the strain that Covid-19 has caused on the hospitals and emergency rooms. And anything that will help people stay out of the hospitals and emergency rooms is always a good thing.
Predicting More Flu Cases This Year Than Last Year
According to WBALTV.com doctors are saying that because we are seeing more colds and RSV means that we have a good possibility of seeing more flu cases this year than last. Why? Last year there was very little flu going around because we were wearing masks and social distancing. This year...not so much.
The CDC is recommending for people to get the flu shot before Halloween and especially for kids that are not old enough for the Covid vaccines.
