It's time to "Spring Forward" into Daylight Saving Time this Sunday at 2AM.

Of course most people just adjust their clocks forward one hour before going to bed on Saturday night. So, remember we're leaping forward, so if you go to sleep at 10PM, move your clock forward to 11PM. That way you will be on time to Church or wherever you may be headed Sunday morning. Starting Sunday, mornings will be darker longer, while evenings will stay lighter an hour longer.

The lost hour of sleep will be made up in the first weekend in November, when we will once again move the clocks back an hour and return to Standard Time.

All states observe DST, except Arizona and Hawaii. There are a number of state legislatures, including Texas, where bills have been filed to try and stop the twice annual changing of the clocks. However, there is stiff opposition to eliminating Daylight Saving Time.

Daylight Saving Time has generally been nationwide since the Uniform Time Act of 1966, although states can opt out of it, if they choose.
