A couple from Tumbling Shoals Arkansas drove home a brand new Winnebago 'Solis' RV yesterday.

Eddie and Joyce Hightower won the RV in a contest called "Wheel's Win A Winnebago Giveaway" from the famous TV show Wheel of Fortune. I had a chance to meet the couple yesterday in Conway Arkansas for the giveaway and learned all about them.

They are lifetime RV fans and love to go camping. But here is where the story really gets neat. They had an old 26 foot RV that they have not used in a while. Joyce told me that it was just a little too big for them to use and it had been sitting at the house for a while. They tried to give it to their son, but he told them they might want to try and sell it or even better donate the RV to someone who could benefit from it. They found a gospel group from nearby Heber Springs to donate their RV.

The group agreed to pick up the RV on a Friday and here is where the story gets really great. Eddie and Joyce were contacted by a representative from 'Wheel Of Fortune' that they had won the Winnebago Solis RV on the following Monday. Wheel of Fortune received 1 million entries into their nationwide contest that celebrated "National Parks" week.

Here is a photo of the new RV. It is just a little bigger than a van which will make it easier for Eddie, and Joyce to get around the campgrounds.
