Arkansas Woman Catches Black Bear at Her House on Doorbell Cam
Well, this is something that most people don't really want to see on their doorbell camera, a black bear.
You can see the bear wander up to the porch and start sniffing something. Then he turns around and walks off. He was caught on another camera too.
That's exactly what a couple in Fort Smith Arkansas saw on their doorbell camera. Jennifer Burr told 5newsonline;
"My Ring camera at my garage went off at 11:19 a.m. on Monday, May 16th. I was at work, and when I opened the live video and saw the bear, I started screaming, "there's a bear at my house!!"
Burr also said she had heard that bears had been spotted in the area but this is the first one she had seen. You can see the video at the bottom of the page.
Why Do Bears Come Up To Houses?
Bears are coming out of hibernation and looking for food right now. To keep bears away from your house don't leave pet food outside and you might want to keep that trash can away from the house.
Arkansas Was The Bear State?
Did you know that Arkansas was once known as The Bear State? When the bear population declined in the early 1920s bears were brought in from other areas like Minnesota to bring the population back up.
