There are a lot of abandoned buildings and places in Arkansas, as in most cases there's always a story behind the closure. The Pines Mall in Pine Buff is a perfect example of not only neglect but with a very drama-filled history attached to it.

WARNING: Under no circumstances should you enter this property. By doing so you risk bodily harm and/or prosecution for trespassing on private property.
A videographer with Ranger Rick TV on YouTube gives us an insight into just what he believes happened to this mall. From bodies that were found near the mall that made the local news to a fire and the arrest of the mall owner. All this combined with what used to be a vibrant mall is now totally abandoned with an eerie feeling. And when I say abandoned, we're talking about lots of things that still remain in the mall, it's really sad to see.

The scenes in this mall look like something you would see in a science fiction movie, like, "A Quiet Place." The video you will see at the end of this story begins with the tragic events that occurred here over the course of the mall era.

The Pines Mall had a movie theater so we will start there.

Pines Movie Theater

The movie posters in the video look like there around 2019, so the mall apparently hasn't been abandoned that long. Ranger Rick said he kept hearing some rustling noises near the back of the theater. Is it haunted too?

Inside The Mall

This eerie view of inside the mall definitely gives me the creeps. What is all that stuff at the end of the hallway? And how about that creepy mannequin?

Can you believe the chairs are still there? And the children's play area too.

I thought for a minute that was a Michael Myers mask but no, it's Woody from "Toy Story."

Abandoned Books

It's a shame these books could be donated to a great cause or some school.

Finally, one of the mall's restrooms. You can hear water running or a leak in the video below.

No matter how you look at it, it's always sad when something that used to be the happening place in Pine Bluff is nothing more than a ghost of itself now.

LOOK: Things from the year you were born that don't exist anymore

The iconic (and at times silly) toys, technologies, and electronics have been usurped since their grand entrance, either by advances in technology or breakthroughs in common sense. See how many things on this list trigger childhood memories—and which ones were here and gone so fast you missed them entirely.
